3 things to stop doing right now on social media!

I see these all the time and it drives me crazy! Of course you don’t care about my opinion. But what you should care about is your brand. Who you are, what you represent and how you help people.

No one cares about your 2 comma club

Facebook ads holding the 2 Comma Club award

The concept is genius! Click Funnels (a company that helps you sell online) has this brilliant award – The 2 Comma Club. Concept is simple, sell over $1M through their platform (1,000,000 has 2x commas) and you get the award. $1M in sales – If you’ve done it, then congratulations! I haven’t. Its a big deal! But here’s the thing – no one cares! Show me 1 million people you’ve helped. Show me a thousands lives you’ve impacted, show me 10 smiling faces. But don’t show me your big dumb award

Changing your surname to your job title

I see this mostly on LinkedIn. Compare the two:

I know, sounds silly right? Except I see it all the time:

I can’t tell what their thinking is – is it brand recognition? Oh, who is that outsourcing queen? Or I wonder what Michael does, isn’t he some type of coach?? Don’t do it! It just comes across as tacky…

How do I build my brand then?

Think of this – how do you lose weight? Say you’ve put on a few kg’s during covid, you’d like to get a bit fitter, a little bit healthier. Then what’s the simpliest, easiest, most efficient way to loose weight?

Eat less

What’s the simpliest, easiest, most efficient way to loose weight?

How do you build your brand – create awesome stuff!

Its really that simple
